Sinopsis
Two brothers, one living in Mexico City and the other in Berlin, undertake an experimental audiovisual correspondence. Through a series of short video-letters, they explore their personal experiences of migration, home, and belonging. Blending found footage, family archives, original images and soundscapes, the project takes the form of an intimate visual dialogue. What begins as individual reflections gradually evolves into a collaborative process in which both brothers revise, edit, and respond to each other’s material. Rooted in visual anthropology and autoethnography, the film raises a central question: how do we construct a sense of place and belonging when we no longer live in the country of our origin? A quiet, non-linear exploration of displacement and the seek for a home.
