Lewat balutan genre dokumenter, Il mundial dimenticato (2011) menawarkan tontonan yang cukup menarik perhatian. The film reconstructs the mysterious story of the 1942 Patagonia World Soccer championship, never acknowledged by the official sports organizations, and which for decades have remained shrouded in legend without the winner ever being known.
